Imperfections
Yesterday, Monday Oct 30 I decided to go back to Shenandoah National Park. Theres so much to explore there and I had to go try out new hiking trails to see what I find. I will say sometimes when I go out and do this hike I try to pick a day when I am feeling great and that my MS symptoms aren’t flairing up. However, this past month has been rough and I’ve found myself dealing with new symptoms that I have never experienced before. A rough few weeks but I been pushing through it because I am working on a couple things for the website which hopefully will be up by holiday season.
On Sunday, I was struggling with a terrible pain on my legs and on my hands felt like I constantly had razers cutting my hands. The last thing in my mind Sunday was to go out on Monday. I do have a lot of pictures back log but I do prefer sharing my adventures every week and this week was no exceptions.
This photo I am sharing with you this week shows just how much MS effects my photography and the way I take pictures. Yesterday, my hands were nonstop shaking and had a hard time holding my camera still. Usually, I am able to compensate this by changing a couple settings but yesterday not even the settings where on my side. As you may know, I am a self taught photographer and am still learning how to make my craft as to close to perfect as I can get it.
This picture is one of my favorites I took so many pictures yesterday that were good. But I prefer this one just because of how much I struggled to get it. It’s hard to explain but is a good feeling to at least get a someone what good picture after struggling the way I was. This picture is by no means my best it has a lot of noise and even after editing this is the best I could do. I will continue to keep pushing and trying to get better but I know pictures like this will always occur with me and that’s something that I love about myself.
During this hike I saw some very beautiful birds but I think the highlight of this hike was an accidental run in I had with a white tailed deer. Such a gorgeous animal that unfortunately I was unable to capture on camera they are just too fast. I wasn’t sure what kind of deer it was but after doing some research I learned that they are called white tailed deer. Some hunters and Native Americans believed seeing this deer means good luck for the rest of your life. But if you were to kill it while hunting is a life filled with bad luck for you. This little one I captured in the picture is a Ruby-crowned Kinglet. If you were to hike in Shenandoah you will most likely see them flying around they are a very common bird.
Check out my portfolio through out the week I will be uploading some of the other pictures I took yesterday and much more. I do have some very nice shots that I have just finish editing that will be going up on there as well. Again, thanks to everyone that follows and shares it means the world to me have a very Happy Halloween with your families.
