12 Month of Great Falls
I apologize for the long wait — but here it is: the 12 Months of Great Falls project. It took a bit longer to get everything up on the website because I was finishing the video that accompanies this series, but it’s finally ready. Canon R8: My First Two Months With It (The Good, The Bad, and My Honest Thoughts)
After using the Canon R8 for two months, here’s my honest and detailed review. I made the upgrade from the Canon M50 Mark II primarily to achieve better low-light performance, benefit from faster and more reliable autofocus, and enjoy the advantages of a full-frame sensor. In this review, I will share the key pros and cons, as well as explain why this camera could be the ideal budget-friendly upgrade for photographers looking to elevate their gear without breaking the bank.
Spring Is Here!
I've been away for a while, and during this time, I’ve been focusing on several exciting projects. While I plan to continue writing my blogs, the frequency will likely be reduced to once or twice a month. My primary focus is shifting towards photography, where I can immerse myself more in capturing the beauty of everyday moments.
In addition to photography, I've also been diving into video editing. I'm preparing to launch my YouTube channel, and this new venture has prompted me to learn the ins and outs of editing. The goal is to share not just my photographs but also the stories behind them and insights into my creative process. I look forward to this new chapter and appreciate your support as I balance both my photography and videography endeavors.

Year in Review: The Highs, Lows, and What’s Next
As 2024 comes to a close, it's an opportune moment to reflect on the year that has shaped my work and creative journey. Each season brought distinct landscapes and opportunities for exploration, allowing me to expand my portfolio and refine my techniques.
In the spring, vibrant blooms adorned the parks, showcasing a tapestry of colors that inspired my landscape photography. Summer brought longer days and ideal conditions for capturing the dynamic movement of wildlife in their natural habitats. The crisp autumn air provided the perfect backdrop for street photography, as life bustled through the streets and leaves danced to the ground.
Finally, winter wrapped up the year with its tranquil beauty and cold mornings that has wildlife working much harder creating unforgettable encounters. Each photo taken this year is a testament to the moments and stories that define our everyday lives, reinforcing my passion for photography and the art of observation.

What Is Art?
